![]() I do not want to constantly have to do a chmod / chown for every new directory or file created. Is it possible to change the id of who SABNZBD/SONARR is running as? (for example, I'd like it to run as the "nobody" id in the jail as it shares the same id as the non jail user "nobody" and would make CIFS happier. So even though the jails can share files, I need CIFS to also be able to read/write/update the files created by the jails. Why Sonarrs Quick Import is supposed to auto-import files downloaded. "Nobody" is the default user for CIFS across all CIFS shares, so I need to keep it that way. Scan video files and submit them to import into Sonarr & Radarr, Drone-factory style. Completed Download Handling option is enabled, Removed is no, Failed Download Handling option Redownload is yes, Remove is yes. SONARR puts the file into a directory that I need to be owned by the non-jailed user "nobody" (id 65534). Sonarr now downloads versions nicely but does not do renaming/sorting and moving to the TVseries folder. Drop the files directly into the Series & Season folder they will be detected on the next rescan, but will not be renamed. You can leave this as default as long as you do not have anything else running on the same port. It creates files in directories that SONARR is able to see, move and read (which is good). Enter in your users Downloads folder as the Drone Factory. SABNZBD uses the jailed user id "media" which has a UID of 816. is there any specific reason as to why certain downloaded episodes will not be picked up and processed via the Drone factory folder have about 4/5 shows currently ( NCIS Los angeles, CSI Las Vegas and a few others), which just doesnt move to the correct folders. Drone Factory works as expected except for this series.I've been through a bunch of HOWTOs and threads on how to work out jail permissions when they need to share a common directory, but I am at a point where I might need a little help. Why doesn’t it see that it’s a Heartland series when it’s clearly named that way? Why wasn’t Sonarr initially able to create a folder for this series? (I can add any other series without a problem). It scanned and listed all the files but came back with an error - Import Rejected: Unknown Series. Which I personally prefer then letting a third party script do the. ![]() So I renamed them manually (Heartland S03E01…) in the Drone Factory folder and selected “Manual Import”. But if you set drone interval to 1 (or higher) and the drone factory folder to the path your converted shows are placed: Z:mediaDownloadsCompleteDrone then sonarr will scan every 1 (or higher) minuts in that folder for shows and places them in the right tv directory. So I dropped it into Sab’s watched folder and waited for the downloads to complete. Foldername in question: Heart Of Greed - Filename example: - Episode 01. Just placing these third party downloaded files to the download folder where the files grabbed by sonarr are placed does not help, they just don’t get imported automatically. I just tried importing a series with the Chinese name in the file / folder name. This option is gone now as far as I can tell. I manually downloaded Season 1 and added it to the Drone Factory folder. I made them place episode files in my specified drone factory folder to be imported by sonarr when they are available. It refreshes but doesn’t find any episodes. Lastly, you will need to place both sonarr.cmd and sonarr.vbs into the jd home folder, for me this was in, C:UsersUsernameAppDataLocalJDownloader 2.0, you don’t actually have to place the vbs in the same folder, since you can change the location in sonarr.cmd, but I always find it best to keep all the scripts together. From here, I set Sonarr to watch season 1. There is a constant 'Unable to write to drone factory folder' error. reddit Why the Drone Factory is bad or just plain evil r/sonarr TL DR: The Drone Factory isnt reliable and can cause partial imports, Dont Use It. So I manually create it - E:\TV Shows\Heartland and add the path in the series EDIT page. I though that one big reason for removing the drone folder was the complaint that it scanned the disc frequently. I add - Heartland (2007) (CA) but Sonarr doesn’t add any folders for it. In “add series” if you search for Heartland 2007, there will be 2 results - Heartland (2007) and Heartland (2007) (CA). (again to prevent conflicts) nYou should reconfigure Sonarr to use a different Drone Factory Folder or disable it altogether. If Completed Download Handling detects a download resides in the Drone Factory it will be ignored. Sonarr has a problem with the Heartland series and I think it’s because of the naming at The TVDB site (or whatever site Sonarr uses). Completed Download Handling and the Drone Factory cannot be configured for the same directory.
